WillCo Tech is looking for a driven and talented CFO to join our growing team.

Our aim is to improve national security with a suite of software solutions targeting the human element of cybersecurity. We build software to manage large cyber workforces towards compliance and harness the data to deliver readiness. Our customers are organizations that have large and critical cybersecurity workforces: the Department of Defense, Federal agencies, critical infrastructure, and commercial enterprises.

Location: Remote Ohio

  • Act as Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner to leadership team
  • Work with the leadership team on all major vision and strategic decisions
  • Lead the financial and administration operations of the business
  • Build and adapt financial and operational models; to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.
  • Lead capital management activities; key contributor in capital raise and finance activities
  • Assess and evaluate financial performance of the organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans
  • Recruit, interview and hire finance, compliance, contracting, accounting or administration staff as required.
  • Create and establish quarterly and yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division and weekly cash flow by division.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
  • Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches and/or new service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
  • Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.
  • Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
  • Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
  • Eight to ten years of experience in financial management is required
  • Prior background in Software as a Service, as well as the drive to learn new industries as needed
  • Proven ability to think strategically, proactively identify key problems of a business, and implement creative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships internally, and also with customers
  • Experience executing projects for the DoD, Federal Government and/or other regulated industries (healthcare, finance, critical infrastructure) is definitely a plus, as is cybersecurity experience
