WillCo Technologies Has Released Their White Paper on IASTAR® to the Federal Government

January 30, 2009, Kansas City, MO – WillCo Technologies, Inc. has released their white paper “IA Strategic Tracking & Reporting: FISMA Personnel Compliance Made Easy” concerning Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA) compliance to the federal government.  FISMA was passed in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks to strengthen the federal government and affiliates information technology (IT).

The United States Army uses WillCo Technologies’ IASTAR® (Information Assurance System for Tracking Assessment and Reporting) as their sole information assurance (IA) compliance program for the Department of Defense Directive 8570 (DoD 8570).  DoD 8570 is the DoD response to FISMA.  For the Army, WillCo Technologies developed a customized version of IASTAR® – the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS).
